The Château is an exceptional venue in Provence for weddings and other events. But it is also a place steeped in history. Edmond Théry was a man of many talents and a well-known economist. When he fell in love with a château in Sologne, he decided he would build a replica. You will have guiessed, that replica was Château la Beaumetane. La Beaumetane has its distinctive square-shaped architectural design and its red bricks. Furthermore, it dominates the landscape from some distance away, and continues to draw the eye as you approach it.

Bound Home & Family Histories

For the last 40 years, the Château has belonged to the Ambrosio family, wine-makers in Lambesc in the Bouches-du-Rhône. We are keen to maintain the beauty of the Château and its grounds; Therefore the family decided to restore it to its former glory in 2013. We also decided to live here. Finally we decided to open the doors of the Château to the world in the way it deserved. Therefore, we, Nathalie and Mike are delighted to offer you the chance to experience a taste of life in the Château.

On passing through the magnificent wrought iron gates, you will find yourself in the grounds of the château. These are entirely enclosed by its ancient walls and railings. You will be greeted by the sumptuous stained glass conservatory. And believe us, it never fails to catch the eye of our visitors. From this moment on, the charm takes over as you fall under the spell of the château and its history. All around the spacious grounds, the trees, plants and the manicured lawns provide a touch of luxury within the Provencal landscape with its vineyards, hills and pines. The balconies and terraces on each wing of the château ehnance its character.

Inside the chateau, the open-plan layout provides easy movement from one chic reception space to another. The château’s grounds are also exceptional. Furthermore, they are fully-enclosed. Meanwhile the shade of the 29 century-old plane trees provides some welcome shade during the hot summer days of Provence.

From the reception space, there are views across the grounds shaded by the majestic plane trees. The high ceilings, the chandeliers, the fireplaces, mouldings and woodwork, the parquet flooring and tiles, the magnificent staircases…  All these exquisite details add to the château’s sense of history and elegance.

For your receptions, you will benefit from an elegant interior space with magnificent wooden floors and paneling. This space can accommodate up to 120 people seated in a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

Furthermore, the superb conservatory provides an ideal space to relax and appreciate the detail of the stained glass. To finish,  the dance floor is a flexible space and is soundproofed for the comfort of your guests.
